Writing Classroom Ideas

  1. What is the most effective way to do peer review?
    • Do we need a consistant partner or should we mix them up consistantly.
  2. How should we get our students to talk about their writing as real writers?
  3. I would like to grade the fall assessments and then not share those scores right away with students.
    1. Instead I would like to have my students grade their own papers against the rubric and then discuss why their grades were different then mine.
    • This way my students will be able to understand the rubric and my expectations for them as writers.
